Sherry Warner, MFA, MA, ATR-BC, ATCS
Registered and Board Certified Art Therapist and Certified Supervisor
Sherry Warner, MFA, MA, ATR-BC, ATCS is a college educator of Psychology and Art Therapy and a practicing Creative Arts Therapist with a Masters in both Creative Arts Therapy and the Visual Fine Arts. She also works as a Certified Art Therapy Supervisor and Cancer Support Group Facilitator. In her practice she works side by side with teens and adults looking to bring more “creative sparks” into their life and develop ways of accepting themselves for their inner strengths and abilities. Her focus is to assist people with embracing many parts of themselves through the use of the creative arts and visualization, and to help guide them through enacting intentional changes and focused self compassion. Many of her clients are empathic, active or interested creatives, working professionals and high school or college students. She is available to help clients process topics such as self-image, relationships, generational trauma, anxiety and depression and opening up to new ways of perceiving and achieving their potentials.
“I approach my work holistically and through a person-centered lens. Being trauma-informed, I work with a client to first foster a supportive working relationship and then to develop a practical, action-oriented plan to help guide transformation. I encourage visualization and art making as an active practice of self compassion.”
