As a registered and board certified Art Psychotherapist, I hold a Masters degree in both Creative Arts Therapy and the Visual Arts. My passions include supporting my clients in being their best selves, being out in nature, embracing the arts in all forms, and continuing my education about self care, mindfulness, spirituality and fostering kindness in the world. My specialities include working with those identifying as women, working professionals, students, teens and others looking to process ways of letting go of fear, reducing emotional and physical tension and embracing new ways of communicating feelings.
I approach my work holistically and through a person-centered lens. Being trauma-informed, I work gradually with clients, first to foster a supportive therapeutic relationship and then to develop an action oriented and practical plan to help guide treatment. I aim to provide my clients with the materials to develop their strengths, be more mindful and make some concrete, healthy changes in their lives!
